Prezi v. PowerPoint

PowerPoint can be easier over Prezi because it is simpler and less involved, you don't have to do any designing and the program is very 2-D. However, if you want to, you can make Prezi very simple as well by following their templates. That said, I feel that the better presentation makes up for the harder use. If you want to be business-like, PowerPoint is often the better way to go, but if you are in a more casual setting or in a space where you are encouraged to be more creative, then Prezi makes for a much more engaging presentation. In a school setting, I nearly always use Prezi over PowerPoint because it is easier to share and has uses only limited to your imagination, whereas PowerPoint leaves you stuck in the box.
